I really love what you’re all working on. Safe, fast, efficient kernels! It’s about time! I’m wondering if you’ve got as far as thinking about networking I/O / network stacks? I work for a startup hardware vendor (exablaze.com). One of our products is a high speed network card which is designed from the ground up for fast direct user-space access. We think this would fit well with your drivers in use space model. We don’t have a lot of time on our hands to contribute code (typical startup), but we’d love to donate some hardware to your efforts if you’re reasonably sure that it would be useful? Please let me know and I can sort something out.
